The POI was determined my the scuff and skid marks on the roadway.

My statement of the hood ornament referred to the damage the truck sustained. According to the pictures I viewed of the truck the grill of the truck was caved in. I have no idea if he was ever "hung up" on the grill. Also, in my orginal info I provided I had forgotten to mention that the pedestrian had suffered a broken right leg.

Thank you for correcting my math - you are right about the 53' resting spot from POI.

My understanding from your reply is that according to the numbers in which I have been provided - that it is improbable that being hit at estimated 12mph a person would sustain this type of injury.
