The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) publishes their low-speed rear-end-into-a-pole crash data in the IIHS publication called the "Status Report." The data is generally expressed in terms of the cost to repair the damage. A Status Report subscription can be obtained "free" from IIHS at 703/247-1500.
