Sam:
Minimal damage to the vehicles with significant forces to the occupants
may imply high acceleration forces. This can be due to low coefficient of
friction between the struck vehicle and the road surface which can be
from slick conditions the brakes of the struck vehicle not firmly applied
or a vehicle that does not absorb the impact forces by deformation.
