The standard I should think is FMVSS 208. It requires the test dummy be fully contained, but also the standard demands a certain seating position for the dummy, and it is NOT a reclining posture. The chest acceleration shall not exceed 60 G's, except intervals whose cumulative duration is not more than 3-ms. And FMVSS 209 lists webbing breaking strengths for type 1, 2, and 2a belts, from 4000 lb-f to 6000 lb-f. The anchorages and hardware must not fail at less than or equal to 20 G's for the system to pass. FMVSS 210 also deals with this area. E-M me if you need more or other. Ed
