Jim,

I find that if you hit your stop watch when the front of the car begins to
dip, and hit it again when the front of the car begins to rise, you can get
a very accurate time. It takes a little practice but the results are
impressive. One reaction time compensates for the other. Also, it's a lot
easier than trying to watch for the tires stop. Try it next time you do
skid testing.
