Information I have is up to 1993 for the Nissan (however the letter coding
is consistent from 89 to 93). VIN position #8 is the identifier for the
restraint system on the Nissan.

Letter C or H indicates it was standard factory airbag, if it's the letter
F, indicates it was optional.
