I have an unusual friction co-efficients paper that is taken from SAE#830612
-Friction Applications in Accident Reconstruction. It shows the following
values:
body sheet metal on asphalt--- .40
on dirt------ .20
on body sheet metal-- .60

This may or may not help as I'm not sure if there is a more recent study.
