Looking for info on AI as a career path

I am out of school for a few years, and I am very interested in the idea
of traffic-accident reconstruction as a career. I have seen many web sites
with information about seminars on the subject matter of accident
reconstruction, and have acquired some texts, but my main need right now is
just to find out what the whole matter of working as an accident
reconstructionist is like from a business and human point of view (i.e. is it
hard or easy to find work, does it take a long time to become good at it,
and so on).

As I don't know any accident reconstructionists personally, this is not easy
for me to find this kind of information. I would be very grateful if someone
could give me any leads --- perhaps some seminar(s) in which I could find it,
somewhere I could read about it --- or indeed if anyone with some experience
is prepared to talk to me a little, I would be most grateful.

Thanks for any help you can give.
