ey upset me just as much. The insurance scams with lawyers and patients make me sick. But again, like the malingering patients, they are in the minority. I don't want to paint defense or plaintiff types all with the same brush, to be sure. I just believe that low speed collisions are more serious than we want to admit, and that the 95% of truthful patients deserve to be treated with dignity. When I see some of the AR reports that profess to rule out occupant injury simply based on vehicle damage (or lack thereof), I know there is something wrong.

Money is a temptress. Greed is the way of capitalism. It exists among the malingerers as well as in the insurance industry (where it has become institutionalized). It rears its ugly head among plaintiffs and their lawyers and just as much in defense circles. But to treat the 95% (or 70% if you live in LA County) who are truly injured as if they are not is truly wrong.
