I'm working on a case involving a semi-trailer with 3 axles and a 2 axles powered vehicle ( total weight about 44.000 Kg.. It went to a stop after collision with a small car (about 1.000 Kg.) We have only short skid mark of left semitrailer's tires. We know that the truk had a speed velocity of 17.8 m/s. In your opinion what is the correct deceleration rate for this vehicle.
