The Traffic Accident Reconstruction Origin -ARnews-

Your are correct that if the motor locks up the front wheel for any length
of time you need to use a drag factor for a motor on its side. Its gonna
go boom. In our current motor school, about a week ago, a guy left 7 inches
of front tire mark and is now suffering from seperated shoulder blades (ouch).
In observing several motor schools, and testing my motor, I found that when
one impends (chirps) the front wheel, it will leave a slight impending mark.
In our test, we were investigating the death of one of our fellow motor
officers. The rider was in his class at motor school and therefore had the
same amount of time riding (and the same training) in riding. Bob used both
wheel braking without lockup, and achieved the results I published earlier.
Also, we were taught not to lock up the rear wheel so we wouldn't high side
and if we did lock it up, left alone it would, with time, come around and say
hello to the front end. They were death on us about locking up the rear
wheel.
Hope this answers your questions.
Keep the rubber side down brother
