I am looking for real (not aggregate) bike accident data. I am doing research for a physics
curriculum that will teach the concepts of forces and motion (Newton's Laws, etc.).
The context for the study is stopping a bike safely. A beginning part of the project will
have students analyze accident data that we provide in the curriculum. We are
asking them to comment on both plausible causes and possible solutions. To do this
we need detailed descriptions of the accidents. Currently, we have fictitious senarios written and
we would like to replace them with real events. Does anyone on this BBS know of a
source for such information?
