I solved the wobble problem by attaching a tire to a 50 caliber ammo box. I then filled the box with nuts and bolts to a weight of 36 pounds. An eyebolt is attached to the can to pull the sled.
I have tested this drag sled against a fifth wheel and by doing test skids and find this sled to be very accurate.
