A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet. Whether I investigate a collision or an accident I am still doing the same job. However attorneys like to hang on every word. Because in New Jersey I need to prove reckless behavior I use the word collision instead of accident in my reports. My thinking is that there are very few real "accidents". Someone did something wrong. Whether someone broke a law or was not paying attention they did something wrong. It's the job that you are doing that is important not the title. You can change my name to Bill but I will still be the same person!
