To those who believe that the dark marks we recognize as
skidmarks originate entirely from substances within the
asphalt made apparent with heat applied to its surface
I issue the following challenge:
Please describe an experiment test or other means by which
I might create a dark spot on asphalt with a hot object.
If the marks originate entirely from substances within the
asphalt we should be able to accomplish this darkening without
a tire.
