Tim: This last winter I just happened to be riding around in my work-truck
which is equipped with a VC-2000.... it was sleeting profusely and had
accumulated to perhaps 1/2 to a whole inch in depth. Being in the country and
being that nobody was watching in the event of an embarassing mishap during the
experiment I did carry out a skid test with the machine activated. The average drag factor
revealed by the Vericom was .15 (level area... asphalt pavement of the type
whichwould usually produce about a .80 drag factor when dry). Maybe this test
data will be of benefit.
