This message responds to the issue regarding "Traffic Symbols" posted by Mr.
Mitchell. First of all, I must confess that I have used AutoSketch (DOS
Windows) for the past several years. I find this affordable CAD package to
be both user-friendly and affordable.

As Mr. Mitchell suggests, it certainly would be nice to be in a postion to
afford and LEARN AutoCAD within everyone's means. In other words, most of us
cannot afford AutoCAD, nor can we afford the time it would take to learn this
package. To bad, YES I know.

As a diehard AutoSketch user, I must say this, I feel comfortable enough in
saying that I would put my little old AutoSketch diagrams in the same catagory
as other software diagrams.

As for the "Traffic Symbols," although the "BMP" images maybe rather rough
around the edges, they can be "Scaled" from within AutoSketch. Personally,
I would want the image to scale proportionally so as not distort the image.
The more you enlarge the image the more pixilized the image becomes. The same
also holds true for Company Logos.

After scanning your Company Logo, convert the image to either "BMP" or "WMF"
formats. AutoSketch will import them both. I think you will find that the
"WMF" format is more workable.

I hope we can settle our differences by saying this.

"Regardless what CAD package you are using, your work will be greatly
enhanced by the many CAD functions that tend to simplify our drawing tasks.
They all have their Good Bad points. The bottom line is that they will all
make life easier."

Thank You,
