Rachel,

the performance of the front and rear bumpers on a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am
was reported by the IIHS. In an 8 km/h barrier impact the front of the
vehicle sustained $304 damage while the rear of the vehicle sustained
$708 damage. The 1993 Pontiac Grand Am is essentially identical to the
1994. Regarding your question about injuries, the answer depends on a
number of things in addition to the speed of the striking vehicle.
