Tire Failure Analysis references?

I am looking for any basic references regarding "tire failure analysis." Any
published journals or articles regarding the basics would be helpful.
Basically, my question is: What evidence should a basic accident
investigator look for (and document) to allow a reconstructionist--at a later
time--to determine if a tire failure caused or contributed to an accident?
