Undersized spare tires and effect on vehicle handling

I am interested in any and all information concerning the effect of having an undersized or "donut" spare tire on a car's performance and handling. I am an attorney, and specifically, I have a client who was driving a Ford Mustang GT with such a tire on the rear, passenger-side wheel. A witness says my client was cut off, and lost control of the car. The car was travelling at about 60-65 MPH at the time. From the reconstruction that has been done, it appears the car began to rotate counter-cloakwise before jumping the median and striking another car.
If anyone could assist me in finding literature on this, or offering their expertise, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if any reconstructionists in Arizona could assist me in this case, E-Mail me, and we can discuss terms, etc. Thanks.
