I've convinced myself via a police high speed chase investigation that the friction coefficient for up to 130 km/h (80 MPH) doesn't change, however, you may want to read Frank Navin's article in Special Problems in AR given at IPTM in April 1992. His numbers indicate that you are safe up to 70 MPH and after that there is a change.
Coulomb didn't drive a Ferrari to the best of my knowledge either.
By the way at these speeds you can expect to have exposed steel belts by the time you slide to a stop if you're not ABS equipped.
