dent knowledge of the validity of the data obtained through Vektronix equipment. In essence, it's a "customer satisfaction" response--not from a typical customer, but from a highly respected individual who has independently tested the equipment, not someone who is quoting sales brochures. And as I recall, that was something you had earlier said you wanted--information about customer satisfaction--quite frankly, Rusty's opinion, based upon his own critical testing, is of much greater value to me, than having a hundred "ordinary" users say something like, "Yes, I used it, and it worked fine."

Finally, while discussions on a web site such as TARO can and should be lively and spirited, when they get to the point of calling someone's statements "superfluous ravings [which] read like disconnected drivel expanding in a vacuum," it's really time to move the exchanges to private e-mail.
