Coefficient Of Friction

I have some experimental data which indicates that at least under the
conditions of this particular test the coefficient of friction for a tire
on a asphalt surface doesn't change as dirt is placed on the surface
beginning by covering zero percent of the road and increasing to 100%.

Does anyone have any similar data or any experience that would suggest if
this result is reasonable?
