We are using AutoSketch to do our drawings. I find it cumbersome for multi
point curves because it will not draw the curve through all the points and you
have to drag the line over the points yourself.
Otherwise it seems to do the job. Layering the diagram is a nice touch and I
have a separate program to handle data entry from our survey and create a .dxf
file so you can just connect the dots in AutoSketch.
It isn't terribly expensive maybe you can get your department to spring for it.
