360 DEGREE COUNTER-CLOCKWISE LINEAR MOMENTUM

Recently I have come across the use of the 360 linear momentum where the angles used are not those measured counter-clockwise as per Daily's book or other reference material I have. Does anyone know of another application where the angles used are other than those measured counter-clockwise. I am aware of the old co-ordinate method and the system used by Victor Craig in the AR Journal.
