Several things to look at. First scuffing marks underneath the tires of the car with side damage. To get 3 or 9
O'clock intrusion the direction of force is either onto the side damage car or into the front of the opposite vehicle.
Height of contact marks and directional scraping in the area of contact tells which of the two were moving and the presence
of braking or side scuffing. The question alone is not sufficiently detailed to provide enough information with which
to solve the puzzle. Of course you knew that when you posed it.
Have a great day.
