Dick;
NHTSA has a web site that buried deep down inside it is the crash test database for all of their tests.
I went and looked for you at the site and found crash information on a 1979 Cadillac Seville.
It is a rear end collision test however you needed interior dimensions for a 50 percentile dummy.
Guess what there is a plethora of information about the seated driver as
far as distances from objects insode the vehicle.
The address for this information is:http://www-nrd.nhtsa.gov/uds-tools/show_uds.cgi/doc/uds/veh/v200/
v251/repv025.doc.
Address so long it needs its own zip code.
Anyway hope this helps.
Have a great day.
