You may want to get in touch with an associate of mine Mike Osborne at mosborne@barint.on.ca who has worked with asphalt for the past dozen years. We tested brand new asphalt (HL3 grade) last year in July (85F - 90F)and have some data. Do you know the grade of asphalt? Do you know what company laid the asphalt? Your state/county/municipality will have records of the latter depending on whose road it is. Are they presently laying some more asphalt of the same grade? That's how we did our comparison test.
