It has been my experience that traffic volume affects the curing rate for
new asphalt also. NWTI suggests s<30 .8 to 1.0g, and s>30 .65 to 1.0g. My
own testing that I can recall was no higher than .82g with fairly new/sharp
asphalt. There are plenty of articles in the AR Journal about this subject.
