I agree with Bob Cole. You have to be careful about what you find. I am just
finishing up with a "T-Bone" fatal involving an Olds Cutlass Ciera and a Ford
Bronco II. The Bronco was likely travelling just under highway speed of 80 km/h
and the whole front end was involved in the impact. A quick examination of the
intact sealed beam headlamp showed no distortion of the filament, but the
headlamp switch was found in the on position when I arrived. One would expect
some hot shock in evidence given the circumstances, but it was not present.
